Mediobanca has launched a new service model called Mediobanca Premier. This new offering is aimed at families with assets up to 5 million euros.
Two assets
The Mediobanca Premier service model combines two assets of the Group: the expertise accumulated by Mediobanca as a financial partner to businesses over its 70 years of activity, and the experience of CheBanca!, the Group's digital bank.
What Mediobanca Premier does
Mediobanca Premier focuses on advising, managing, and protecting the wealth of families with assets up to 5 million euros. It offers asset management products as well as Capital Market and Corporate & Investment Banking services from Mediobanca.
The goal of Mediobanca Premier is to expand and renew the product and service offerings to meet the financial needs of a more sophisticated clientele. The new offering aims to become one of the leading players in the Premier segment in managing assets up to 5 million euros.
The growth of Wealth Management
Mediobanca Premier will also contribute to the growth of the Group's Wealth Management division, which includes the Private network (Mediobanca Private Banking in Italy and CMB in the Principality of Monaco) and the asset management businesses (Mediobanca Sgr in Italy, Polus Capital Management for illiquid credit, and Ram Active Investment for systematic equity funds).
To support the goals of Mediobanca Premier, there will be investments in technology, including artificial intelligence, products, and the sales force. By 2026, Mediobanca Premier plans to employ over 1,350 professionals and open new branches in Italy, in addition to the existing 200.
Furthermore, Mediobanca will continue to strengthen its digital platforms, including a wealth advisory suite, mobile and internet banking channels, and the Premier Business platform for entrepreneurs and professionals.
Mediobanca Premier primarily targets entrepreneurs and offers a service model that includes personal and business asset management. The Corporate & Investment Banking division of Mediobanca will also provide specialized financial services such as merger and acquisition advisory and financing sourcing.
